Özet
In this study, the adaptation of Distributed Leadership Scale, originally developed by Hairon and Goh (2015), to Turkish culture was carried out. For this purpose, research data were collected from 392 school administrators in Ankara. Distributed Leadership Scale (DLS) was used as data collection tool in the study. DLS has four dimensions and includes 17 items in total. Within the scope of adapting the DLS to Turkish, firstly the permission of the researchers was obtained to use the scale. Later, Turkish language equivalence studies of the DLO were carried out. With the completion of this process, research data were collected and analyzed. Within the scope of the analysis of the data set, the validity and reliability of the DLS was examined. Cronbach alpha coefficient was calculated for the reliability of the DLS. The validity of the four-dimensional structure of the DLS was evaluated by confirmatory factor analysis. After the data analysis, it was concluded that the DLS is a valid and reliable data collection tool suitable for Turkish culture.
