Özet
The aim of Ihis study is lo reveal the diversity of 94 local melon genotypes in the Region, which maintains gcnctic diversity besides commcrcial cultivation. These genotypes inbred to S3 level and evaluated with modified 44 IPCiR descriptors. Based on the morphological measurements and observations the genotypes grouped into 16 factors. It was dctcctcd 73.62% of variation between the genotypes by principal component analysis (PCA). The variation in quantitative and qualitative characters were determined as 73.16% and 65.77% respectively. In addition, the collectcd genotypes classified into 11 groups by clustering analysis. The furthest distance observed between genotype 1 and 4 and the nearest distance was measured between 37 and 97. These identified genotypes can be useful for breeders in future studies as hallway materials.
