Özet
Hafif usûl is the most preferred usûl with 108 pieces among a total of 594 bestes in 27 different usûls. In addition, the Hafif usûl has been the most preferred usûl among other 32-beat usûls (Muhammes 55 pieces, Berefşan 14 pieces) of the 108 bestes identified as being composed in the Hafif usûl, 104 are Murabba Bestes and four are Nakış Bestes. In the bestes, the third degree of the Hafif usûl in “32/2” and the second degree in “32/4” were used. Although it is known that the Hafif usûl, which has attracted the attention of composers in terms of producing works in the form of bestes, has several different forms that have changed over time, these differences are not related to the time of the usûl, but to the way it is performed. In this study, in which all hafif usûl Murabba bestes that could be identified from Turkish music notation archives were examined, these works were analysed under two separate headings: form-construction and lyric construction. Thus, it has been concluded that 15 different form construction and six different basic form construction were used in the bestes with Hafif usûl, and the title of lyric construction, poems written in eight different verses were chosen as lyrics, and the composers who used four of these verses used common or similiar compositional patterns in the bestes.
