Fabrication of 3D Cu0.45Mn0.55O2 nanoflowers with novel photoluminescence and magnetic properties

Özet In this study, three-dimensional Cu<inf>0.45</inf>Mn<inf>0.55</inf>O<inf>2</inf> nanoflowers self-assembled by interconnecting dense stacked nanoplates have been synthesized by the template-free hydrothermal growth technique. The morphology, phase structure, and composition of the nanomaterial were analyzed by XRD, FESEM, TEM, HRTEM with SAED. FESEM and TEM, analyses point that the dimension of 3D Cu<inf>0.45</inf>Mn<inf>0.55</inf>O<inf>2</inf> nanoflowers is in the range of 1-1.5 μm and the thickness of interconnected nanoplates is about 40 nm on the average. The photoluminescence spectra of the Cu<inf>0.45</inf>Mn<inf>0.55</inf>O<inf>2</inf> nanostructures show distinguished emission bands found in red-violet spectral region. Additionaly, magnetic analysis showed the weak ferromagnetic behavior of Cu<inf>0.45</inf>Mn<inf>0.55</inf>O<inf>2</inf> nanoflowers and presented for the first time using vibrating sample magnetometer.
