Özet
Mandibular condyle fractures in pediatric patients are maxillofacial injuries that can cause serious complications. Condyle fractures are the most common fractures of the mandible. Non surgical open and closed methods are used in the treatment. Especially in pediatric patients, the closed method is more preferred than the open method. The aim of this case report is to evaluate the early period clinical and radiological findings of a patient with a unilateral condyle fracture as a result of trauma, before and after treatment with a closed approach. In this case report, the treatment of unilateral condyle fracture with a raised hard plate and Barton bandage applied to the lower jaw in a patient (2, ♂) who applied to our clinic after falling off the table was discussed. As a result of weekly controls, improvement in symptoms and callus formation in the fracture area were observed at the end of the first month.
