Özet
Objective: The aim of this study is to determine the clinical characteristics, laboratory values and the statistical relationship between these characteristics of patients who were followed up for immünglobulin A vasculitis (IgAV; Henoch-Schönlein purpura) in Konya, since it is the most common vasculitis in childhood. Materials and Methods: In this retrospective study, between October 2016 and September 2018, 103 patients who applied to our hospital, Department of Pediatrics, Pediatric Rheumatology outpatient clinic, Pediatric emergency service, Child Health outpatient clinic and Pediatric Nephrology outpatient clinic and diagnosed with IgAV, were evaluated with automation epicrisis records and patient files. The effects of age, parental age, gender, season of diagnosis, body weight, height, laboratory values and system involvement on recurrence and symptoms were investigated. Results: The male/female ratio of the patients included in our study was found to be 1.34, similar to the studies performed. When the seasons were examined, it was seen that the number of patients diagnosed in autumn and winter months was significantly higher than in the spring and summer months. When the distribution was examined in terms of system involvement, skin involvement in all, musculoskeletal involvement in 66%, gastrointestinal tract involvement in 51%, renal involvement in 15.5% and scrotal involvement in 8.7% of the patients were detected. Relapse was seen in 18.4% of the patients within the first six months. Conclusion: It has been observed that an infection in IgAV mostly pulls the trigger, it is more common in the autumn season, it can affect all other systems, especially joint and skin involvement, the prognosis is good in the short term, and the majority of cases heal without sequelae. A significant correlation was found between leukocytosis and older age and kidney involvement.
