Özet
Objective: Odontoma is most frequently visualized in jaws. Odontoma is a branch of benign tumors of odontogenic origin that do not show aggressive behavior. Odontomas are divided into two categories according to their macroscopic features, the complex and compound. In this case series, we present 22 cases treated surgically. Case Reports: A total number of 22 cases, which consists of 14 females and 8 males with an age range of 10 to 34. All lesions were treated via surgical intervention. After the radiological and histological examination,14 of the cases were recorded as compound, 8 cases as complex. Result: Odontoma is the most common benign tumor of the jaws, usually detected in routine radiographs. Although the clinical symptoms are rare, the delay in clogging of the active teeth, lack of germ in the teeth, malposition, burial, perplexity, resorption or displacement, devitalization, malformation, impacted tooth attached to odontoma can be removed or left in place with surgical excision.
