Özet
Incisional hernia is frequently repaired by one of the mesh products and its outcomes are usually good. Laparascopic repair being a popular approach causes the development of many mesh products in order to use in peritoneal cavity. Adding a second layer containing a higher amount of inert material on the mesh is planned in order to prevent its adherence to the underlying organs and many studies indicate that this is effective. However, complications can still develop although rare. In this study, we presented a 56-year-old female patient who presented to our clinic with acute abdomen with a history of ventral hernia repair using mesh. © 2012 by Türkiye Klinikleri.
