Determining Perception Levels of E-Pulse System Usage: A Study on University Students

Özet In this study, it was aimed to determine the perception levels of Hatay Health Services Vocational School students about the use of the E-pulse system. In line with the purpose of this research, which was carried out with the general survey model of the quantitative research type; In the 2020-2021 academic year, 494 students selected by descriptive sampling method among the students studying at Hatay Health Services Vocational School constitute the sample of the research. For the purpose of the research, it was obtained by using the "E-Pulse Usage Perception Scale and Personal Information Form" to determine the perception levels of university students participating in the study about the use of the E-Pulse system. The E-Pulse Usage Perception Scale consists of 23 items and 2 dimensions, and the Personal Information Form consists of 6 questions to determine the socio-demographic characteristics of the participants. As a result of the scales applied, the data were analyzed with the SPSS program. In addition, as a method of analysis; One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and t-test analyzes were used. According to the results of the research, there is a significant difference between the E-Pulse Usage Perception scale and its sub-dimensions and gender; There is a significant difference between the E-Pulse Usage Perception and the age variable, but there is no significant difference between the sub-dimensions; It was determined that there was no significant difference between E-Pulse Usage Perception and its sub-dimensions, class, department of education, presence of chronic illness and the number of hospital admissions in the last year.
