Özet The aim of study was to conduct an evaluation of the psychometric properties of the Turkish version of the Addiction-Like Eating Behavior Scale for university students. The sample consisted of 884 university students. Factor analysis, Cronbach’s alpha, SEM-based MacDonald’s omega test, analysis of variance, and item-total score correlation were used to evaluate the data. The scale consisted of 15 items and two subscales. The scale explained 50.4% of the total variance. Explanatory and confirmatory factor analysis revealed factor coefficients that were over 0.30, and the fit indices were over 0.90. Cronbach’s alpha for the whole scale and subscales were higher than 0.70. According to the results, the Addiction-Like Eating Behavior Scale for university students is a valid and reliable tool in the Turkish sample.
