Özet A novel easily available turn-on fluorescent sensor based on a triphenylamine-aminophenol conjugate (TAP) was synthesized, and characterized by combination of 1H, 13C, APT, COSY NMR, FTIR, elemental analysis, and UV-vis spectral data. TAP showed effectively selective and sensitive recognition toward Zn2+ and Cd2+ ions in CH 3CN over other cations tested with remarkably enhanced fluorescent intensities. © 2013 Elsevier B.V.
