Özet
Fluctuations in agricultural production threaten the sustainability of enterprises operating in the agricultural sector. The source of these fluctuations resulting from social, technical, ecological and economic factors is directly related with production planning. The coefficient of variation and coincidental variation coefficient were used to determine the source of fluctuations in agricultural production. The article aims to determine fluctuations of products such as wheat, chickpea, com, onion, sunflower, beans and barley in Adana, Ankara, Konya and Tekirdag, which have different ecological structure, based on the period of 1991-2011. Fluctuations in the basic products such as wheat and barley, which are cultivated widely, according to the effect of changes in market information and production technologies were determined to be higher. In addition, the provinces with different ecological structure have been compared in terms of the fluctuations in production, yield and price resulting from changes in market structure and technology. In the provinces of Tekirdag and Adana they were determined to be lower compared to other provinces. This situation is envisaged as a result of producers levels of education and experience that are operating in these provinces.
