Özet
Energy balance is an important indicator that shows the efficiency of production methods and compares them. In this article, the energy balance of the sugar beet, which has an important place in the agricultural production of Turkey, is calculated for middle Anatolia conditions (Konya region). According to the obtained results, the total energy input, total energy output, output/input ratio, and net energy ratio are found to be 19760.065 MJ/ha, 378491.2 MJ/ha, 19.15, and 18.15, respectively (for 6.9 t/ha yield).
