Özet
In this work, pulverized grape seeds were irradiated with varying doses of 60Co gamma radiation, and the effect of radiation for each dosage value was determined using Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) spectroscopy and microbiological analysis. Through dose-response and kinetic investigations, the dose dependence and stability of the radiation induced cellulose-like radicals were determined, respectively. The effect of irradiation on aerobic bacteria was demonstrated for the first time by microbiological analysis and the inactivating dose value was identified. The obtained findings are beneficial for irradiated food detection investigations.
