Özet
The study aims to determine the efficiency of alternative methods for reducing draught-power while working with subsoiler. For that reason, two different apparatus (blade and disc coulter) with working depth of less than subsoiler were attached to the front part of subsoiler and working characteristics, draught force, draught power, fuel consumption, work efficiency, soil penetration resistance, soil moisture content and bulk density were determined at different forward speed values (high, medium, low). Two subsoiler treatments (vibratory and non-vibratory) were applied at the each experimental site. In this study, the lowest value of draught force, draught power and fuel consumption were obtained on the normal vibratory subsoiler application and the highest value draught force, draught power and fuel consumption were also obtained on the non-vibratory subsoiler equipped with disc coulter application. The lowest value work performance was obtained on the non-vibratory subsoiler equipped with blade coulter application and the highest value was also obtained on the non-vibratory subsoiler equipped with disc coulter application. It was determined that work performance showed rising on vibrant applications. It was also determined that work performance rose depending upon forward speed.
