Tang Hanedanlığı Dönemi Çin Şiiri Araştırmaları

In this project, primary historical sources such as Old Book of Tang (旧唐书, Jiù Tángshū), New Book of Tang (新唐书, Xīn Tángshū), and Book of Sui (隋书, Suíshū), as well as modern research by Chinese literature scholars will be reviewed to gather information on Tang literature and poetry. Based on the findings, the characteristics of the aforementioned poetic forms will be thoroughly explained. Leading poets representing each form will be identified, short biographies will be prepared and a selected number of their works will be translated into Turkish. The study will conclude with an evaluative discussion. In Turkey, there are non many scholarly works specifically dedicated to Chinese literature and especially to Tang poetry. Thus, this project is both a academic study and an original contribution. The knowledge gained from this research is expected to serve as a valuable source for scholars, researchers and undergraduate and graduate students working in the field of Chinese literature, particularly Tang poetry.ı düşünülmektedir.
