European Thematic Network for Doctoral Education in Computing {Thematic Network]

(1) to help acknowledge doctoral studies as an important “third” cycle of education, to define a framework for increasing the quality of all doctoral studies and to develop tools and i assessment, validation and certification of the knowledge and skills of PhD students; (2) to establish the principles of effective, high quality, and pertinent European doctoral studies and to create tools supporting this objective through the analysis of existing systems, experiences, and dissemination of good practices amongst all partners.
